BBBC Challenge accepted! Day 1

I know this is crazy, since I haven’t posted since last August, but I have accepted the Brave, Bold, Blogger Challenge (BBBC) issued by my moto-blog friend Kathy, aka Toadmama! It involves a post each day in the generally moto-bare month of February, based on a list of prompts she provided. I am starting off strong with my first post, on the actual first day of February! ๐Ÿ™‚

Toadmama’s Challengeย

The great thing is there are no rules, so I’m hoping I can make this work, even if it takes ‘catch-up’ posts when I can’t do a post on the appointed day. How’s that for starting off with caveats? LOL

Today’s prompt is “The state you most hope to visit this year”.

This year, for me that state is Utah. Many reasons, including Arches, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and Canyonlands National Parks, the BMW MOA national rally, Hwy 12, Utah-based blog friend Ry atย Two Wheels to There, and the general awesomeness of motorcycling in Utah!

Of course, while we’re there, it seems fitting to spend some time in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico, right?

Still dreaming, but hoping some or all of this will come true. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒž

  1. Ooooh, Utah! As much as I like all of those sites, I’d be most envious of your getting to meet Ry. And, yes, you did start off strong! The no rules thing is important. This is supposed to be fun, not stressful. Thanks for playing along!

  2. Well, heck yeah! Come up, over, down, whatever to good ol’ Utah. We could meet for beer and a bite in Salt Lake, or… I’m always looking for any excuse to ride to my state’s smaller towns (those usually have beer and great food too ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

    • I do know that Lynn, and thank you. One question…is it possible to schedule posts to write themselves on a certain day and time? Tongue firmly in cheek ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s been a busy couple of days but I hope to catch up tomorrow!

  3. Hwy 12 is one of my favorite highway. I’m glad that you mentioned Capitol Reef which I get hidden behind the other parks. It’s my favorite by far. If you do visit, there don’t stop at SunGlow Cafe in Bicknell, UT for either a Pinto Pie or even be brave enough to try the Pickle Pie. They’re delicous!
