We have moved on to Colorado now, but I feel compelled to share our last awesome day in Taos, with our friend Dorcas, who came along to visit both Santa Fe and Taos with us. The visits to both towns were awesome, and most of the sharing was done on Instagram and Facebook, but Thursday included sights around Taos and a volume of photos that begged for a blog post. 🙂
Month: April 2018
Palo Duro Canyon
After so many years living in, and then visiting, Texas, we finally made it to Palo Duro Canyon State Park on April 15th, in the Panhandle Plains just southeast of Amarillo.
A ride in the Hill Country
Those of you who have been around here a while know that most of our adventures that involve riding, also involve internal combustion engines. Well, prepare to be amazed! 😉
Finally made it to Shiner!
I have been a Shiner Beer fan for 30+ years, back to when I lived in San Antonio and was introduced to Shiner Bock. In addition to living in San Antonio for 10 years, we have visited Texas countless times since we moved to Georgia in 1995, but it was never convenient (or a priority, I guess) to make the pilgrimage to the small town of Shiner.
