I’ve shared before how much we enjoy our Green Bike USA folding fat tire e-bikes and today I’ll share a recent ride we took on a local scenic ride here in beautiful Buena Vista, Colorado. For those that have followed on FB or IG, this was before the snow! ❄
If you have been following this site for any length of time, you probably know that the hubs and I have been traveling by motorcycle, since the late 1990s, and via RV and motorcycle, since 2015. From the time we first met, the one constant in our lives has been that we LOVE to travel. Well, we have taken that love to a new extent, and I am going to tell you all about it, finally. But first, a little history.
Back at the end of February while we were visiting Savannah, we followed up our morning visit to Historic Wormsloe plantation with a trek out to Fort Pulaski National Monument, on US 80 between Savannah and Tybee Island. There must have been some sort of special weather pattern while we were there because the fog or marine layer was really pronounced, especially when near the marsh, rivers, or ocean. You will see what I mean in all the photos!
On the Isle of Hope, about 8 miles south of Savannah, we explored a Georgia State Park historic site that is well worth a visit.
