That big next step…

We interrupt the story of our Inaugural retirement trip to Texas to make a BIG announcement!

We did it; we are the proud owners of an RV!

But before we go there a little background. Those of you who have followed curvyroads for any length of time know that we have dreamed about, thought about, talked about, researched and obsessed over RVs and choosing an RV for a long, long time.

Inaugural Retirement trip – Part 6

Ok, taking my time to publish the ‘rest of this story’ is an understatement…that said, we have now completed our RV test rental, with great success, but I will have to save that bit of news for a future post. *evil grin*

Inaugural Retirement trip – Part 5

This trip is turning out, like most for me, to be a long process of sharing our experiences, after our return home, and then taking off again on our test RV rental. Adventures in the Texas Hill Country – Austin to Fredericksburg

Inaugural Retirement trip – Part 4

Inaugural Retirement trip – Part 3 – Finally!

Since it has been some time since I was able to post about this trip, there may be some of you joining the journey for the first time. If so, you can go back to the beginning here. I have added links in each blog to connect you to the next installment. It’s been so long due to technical difficulties with the WordPress for Android app on my tablet, which I reported in a really short post here. Sadly, we have returned home, and the WP mobile app is still broken, as far as being able to post pictures. Boo. So back on the laptop we go.

Voices of Motorcycle Bloggers

Looking south on NC 80

I recently became a follower of a motorcycle blogger with the fabulous name of Fuzzygalore, who writes about riding, motorcycles, and fun things to look for out on the road during motorcycle travels, and uses the tagline “Girlie Motorcycle Blog”. How could anyone resist? Incidentally, I discovered Fuzzy through her comments on Leslie’s Motorcycle Adventures blog, Advgrrl. Leslie posts videos all the time, so we know what she looks and sounds like!  Why shouldn’t the rest of us join her?
