Although I do enjoy walking in cities, and often seek out centrally located hotels and even campgrounds, that are within walking distance of shops or interesting things in a city, my go-to walk is in nature.
We chose to move out of the suburban sprawl of Metro Atlanta almost 9 years ago. We now live in a rural, mountainous, nature-rich area and couldn’t be happier.
Getting out in nature doesn’t require effort here, we simply have to walk outside. There are also walking and hiking trails all over the surrounding area, so I have selected shots of some of my favorite local trails to share.
Nature feeds the soul.
This post is part of the Brave, Bold, Blogger Challenge (BBBC) issued by my moto-blog friend Kathy, aka ToadMama, to cover 28 blog prompts in the month of February. And good for undisciplined me, no rules either.
Prompt: Nature trail or city street for walking
Beautiful pictures. You do live a lovely part of the country.

Really a pretty area. I’ve never explored much on the east coast. Just about anytime I was there it was work related.

Well I hope it’s on your ‘to visit’ list for one day. So much to see.

Lynne, the more I see of your area, the more I am intrigued. If only it weren’t hot in the South. It sure is pretty!

Honestly, it’s not much hotter here than it is in Virginia. We do have Seasons, at least so far…and it is just beautiful in the mountains!
