Great places and adventures with KokoMoto
Wow, it felt good to finally get a blog post done! I was hoping to capture the momentum, finish this series, and get on to some more recent adventures, but here we are two months later. Well you know, time flies when you’re having fun! 😉

Oh. My. God. How is it possible that I last posted in February? All I can say in my defense is that retiring is the single best decision we have ever made and that we have been living the dream since March of 2015. Between RV trips, bike trips, and the occasional car trip, it doesn’t leave much time for documenting all the fun!
As a reminder, this bucket list adventure took place in the summer of 2015. I considered just letting this story end with part 3, but there is still so much more to share from this trip. So…if you haven’t followed from the beginning, or you are a normal human and can’t remember everything you read MONTHS ago, here is the link to go back to Part 1. Welcome (or welcome back) to the continuation of our bucket list trip in the summer of 2015. If you haven’t followed from the beginning, you could go back to Part 1 and catch up, if you like. Or not. 😉
After experiencing a true ‘bucket list’ trip last summer via RV with motorcycles in tow, but not blogging about it at all, I turned on the fountain last week with Part 1, and it appears to still be flowing. I am going to take advantage of it while it lasts!
So, after covering 5000 or so miles in the RV, and about as many on the bikes last year, I was noticeably absent from WordPress, emerging only to post on FaceBook some of the highlights of our trip. Ok, a LOT of the highlights, for those that follow. It made me realize that although I really enjoy sharing our adventures on the blog, it takes a lot of time and effort, and I made the choice to enjoy the moment and capture the memories on film for sharing and reminiscing later. Now it’s later. 🙂
If you’ve been following along, in the last post, we were camping in our new RV near Hot Springs, Arkansas, and enjoying some relaxation and some riding. The day before we were to leave, I spent all day capturing two wonderful days of riding in a loooonnnggg blog post on my WP tablet app. I thought this was ok since the WP app had started working again, despite the problems I whined about shared here during our Texas trip in April. Well, WRONG! As I shared with my Facebook friends with dismay that evening:
We leave the Ozarks early tomorrow morning, so I will leave you with a parting shot of the post-storm mist over Lake Catherine. And the sad tale of spending all day writing my last post about riding here and visiting Mount Magazine, Petit Jean and Mount Nebo State parks. Only to have the WordPress app eat my hours of work. Gone; disappeared into thin air. Wah, wah, get over it!
So we bought the RV, as described in the last post here. What do we do next? Hit the road, of course! A few days ago, we headed west for the Ozarks. In keeping with our idea of slow travel, we planned to drive halfway there, spending the first night in Tupelo, Mississippi.

We did it; we are the proud owners of an RV!
But before we go there a little background. Those of you who have followed curvyroads for any length of time know that we have dreamed about, thought about, talked about, researched and obsessed over RVs and choosing an RV for a long, long time.
