You read a lot about random acts of kindness, small things such as paying for someone’s order in the drive through line at Dunkin Donuts, or grand gestures such as donating a truckload of toys for at-risk children at Christmas. These are wonderful things, and they absolutely make people happy.

Room with a view (BBBC 2017-13)

I haven’t owned many homes in my life, two on my own, and two with my husband, but the evolution of those homes over time shows a definite movement toward the open concept floorplan. I should caveat that to say I am a big fan of rooms with walls for the more personal aspects of life, such as sleeping and bathing. 😉

Mother (BBBC 2017-12)

What a long, strange trip it’s been. My Mother and I did not have the greatest of relationships during most of my lifetime. I can safely say that we were never close, never felt that bond that so many Mothers and Daughters share. I was a tomboy from an early age, preferring horses and even model cars to girlie stuff. I was my Dad’s daughter, taught to use tools, mow the lawn, drive a stick-shift car, at an early age.

Ok, the challenge is getting more challenging! Just ONE National Park I’d like to visit? We are hoping to visit all the National Parks in Utah this year, and perhaps some in Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado as well. But if you make me choose…I would have to say Arches National Park would be the one I would select this year. LOL
