Ok, I will admit it. Even though we planned to come visit the Caverns from the beginning of our trip planning, I thought it might be just a big tourist trap. Au contraire, my friends!
Sights around Carlsbad
Carlsbad Caverns is SO amazing that it deserves its own post, and I still may have too many photos for one post. 😉 But, there is so much cool stuff in the area that I wanted to share this first…
Dataversary fun
If you’ve visited this blog more than once or twice, you may be aware that the Hubs and I like to celebrate anniversaries. We have enjoyed our “dating anniversaries” for many years, a number of times in San Antonio, where we met, and this year was no different! Except this time I’ve coined a new corny term!
Enjoying San Antonio…again
We are in week one of a two-month ramble, west from Georgia to Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado. As you may know, San Antonio is very special to Jerry and me, since we met here and started our 20+ year adventures together. ❤

I like shopping that doesn’t take a lot of time. 😀

I had not blogged in months prior to February 1st. I didn’t do every post on the appointed day, but I did do a post on every one of the 28 prompts. Yay!
At one with nature (BBBC 2017-27)
Although I do enjoy walking in cities, and often seek out centrally located hotels and even campgrounds, that are within walking distance of shops or interesting things in a city, my go-to walk is in nature.
Tres canciones (BBBC 2017-26)
I am not impressed with my own singing. In fact, I am self-conscious about how bad I sound, even to myself. So it’s not often that I sing out loud. There are three exceptions, as follows:
