Well, for probably the last 5 years, at least, my phone has been my camera. It continues to amaze me how camera phones just keep getting better and better.
The most important meal of the day (BBBC 2017-24)
It’s no secret, I love breakfast. If calories, cholesterol, and fat were not issues, I would eat two eggs over medium, Turkey sausage, sautéed breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions, and buttered rye toast, every day.
Orange you glad? (BBBC 2017-22)
Standing guard (BBBC 2017-23)
Our carved bear, Carlos, standing guard on the front porch.
Misinformation and Influence (BBBC 2017-21)
In my lifetime, I cannot remember a time where so much misinformation has existed and been spread, so far and wide. But then, we haven’t always had social media and the internet so prevalent in our lives. Opinions are everywhere, and no one is shy about sharing them. Nor are we, apparently, shy about trying to convince EVERY SINGLE PERSON WE KNOW that our opinion is vastly superior to their, contrary opinion.
Moto-thrills in the hood (BBBC 2017-20)
The hubs and I started riding almost 20 years ago, at “advanced” ages, for most motorcyclists. Better late than never, right? We made up for lost time, however, taking almost all of our vacations on our bikes, traveling all over the US and into Canada. We lived in Metro Atlanta for 12 of those years, but then we got tired of having to ride back into the city after a long day on the bikes, and we moved north. Into the foothills of the Appalachians, near Dahlonega, Georgia, AKA motorcycling heaven. So…there are LOTS of wonderful roads in our “hood”. And we consider our hood to be within 200 to 300 miles, of course. 🙂
Reflection (BBBC 2017-19)
This post is part of the Brave, Bold, Blogger Challenge (BBBC) issued by my moto-blog friend Kathy, aka ToadMama, to cover 28 blog prompts in the month of February. And good for undisciplined me, no rules either.
Prompt: Reflection
Church of two wheels (BBBC 2017-18)
I’d rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in a church thinking about riding a motorcycle.

I am not a religious person but I do consider myself a spiritual person. And I believe there is no better place to witness the most awe-inspiring creations than from the seat of my bike.
I worship at the Church of two wheels.

Simple pleasure (BBBC 2017-17)
Simple pleasure…listening to soft rain in drought-stricken North Georgia.

Gratitude 2.0 (BBBC 2017-16)
As I ponder the idea of what I am thankful for today, I think back to almost exactly two years ago, when I was two weeks into retirement and wrote this blog post about my feelings at the time. Attitude of Gratitude
